Christ, well... I am glad I waited to go on the second day... and didn't prepay.
Got to say though, I am glad to call myself an INRAT officer when it means my cohorts walk right on into cosmic anomalies. Balls, man. Like elephant sized.

Ah, also, just remembered. May 28th is the SPCA's annual Paws in the Park fundraiser. The boys and I walk it every year, two miles around the park, vendors, dog tricks, look a like contests those are always fun. Anyway, if you have a dog that likes massive crowds, and/or interested in helping the Diamond Dogs Unit raise pledges, come by or let me know!

I'm sorry, did I just hear the term 'train robbery' on the news? And three dead? It didn't say anything about passengers being injured, but, what's the point of robbing a train besides the passengers or cargo?

Time to leave all of this lovely rain behind us and go space-side for about...two weeks this time. I think I enjoy going space-side more than being space-side because for us there is a decontamination that is in part 0G, and you have never seen a happier sight than a St. Bernard floating through the cabin. She's like a puppy again.
And then we spend two weeks sharing a room with Riddoch and Maysie (who both snore) and twelve hours a day searching cargo ships where mostly we find space rats (myth or legend?).

Apparently some people think having three doctorates in subjects I've never even heard of and me having nothing, means my partner can't find what they have hidden in their trousers.
